About Us

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
The department of Human Development and Child Studies offers early childhood education programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. We are happy to offer a new online Master's cohort in Early Childhood starting Fall 2021. Application due July 1st.
Undergraduate students working on a bachelor’s degree in elementary education have the option to also include coursework for the ZS (early childhood general and special education) teaching endorsement.
Graduate students have the following options:
ZS endorsement
M.Ed. in early childhood education without ZS endorsement
M.Ed. in early childhood education with ZS endorsement
Ph.D. in early childhood education
MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION - SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Master of Education in special education is designed to provide students advanced training and expertise in a chosen area of concentration. Exploration of theory, research and advanced application in instruction and assessment with selected populations are integrated throughout the program.
