During this session, attendees will increase their awareness of common licensing violations, explore strategies for maintaining compliance, and gain a better understanding of Michigan licensing requirements and updates.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

• Build awareness of common licensing violations by identifying the most frequent violations in Michigan child care settings
• Understand Michigan licensing requirements and updates, including key licensing rules and recent changes that impact daily practice
• Apply practical strategies to maintain compliance and prevent violations before they occur
